The Majesty of Italy tour will have you embark on an exciting journey through Northern Italy. Immediately after touching down in the dynamic city of Milan, we will travel to the charming town of Alba in time for the renowned white truffle festival. As you master the art of truffle hunting, indulge your tastebuds while sipping the finest wines from the region including iconic Barolo producers.

Before arriving to the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside, you will enjoy the delicious pairing of Lambrusco and prosciutto as you wind through the picturesque landscapes of Emilia-Romagna. Enjoy a leisurely tour of the medieval hilltop towns, taste the incredible expressions of Sangiovese from legendary producers in Montepulciano and Montalcino.

The journey continues to the 'fair city' of Verona, where you will be mesmerized by a tour of the city's storybook streets. During your stay in Verona, we will take a day trip to the enchanting Valpolicella wine region is in store for you, where you'll enjoy an unforgettable tasting.

We will meet as a group at the Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) before traveling to the hills outside of Alba. Our home while we're there will be a winery nestled in hills of Barolo. Take in the views and freshen up before we head to Alba for apperitvi and a fabulous welcome dinner.

Over the next two days, you will get the opportunity to explore more in and around the quaint hamlet of Alba. 

You cannot leave the area without bidding adieu to the area's 'king of wines,' Barolo. We have the incredible opportunity to try some of the premier wines of the area at a fantastic family-run wineries where we will also dine like kings & queens. After a hard at work tasting wine & touring the vineyards, we'll head back to our accommodations to relax for a little while before dinner.

After leaving Alba, we head for the rolling hills of Emilia-Romagna where Parmesan, Balsamic, and prosciutto reign supreme. We'll stop for an incredible lunch and head to downtown Bologna. After check-in to the hotel, we will lead you to one of our favorite little local spots.

After a relaxing sleep and laid back morning at our hotel in the Tuscan hills, we'll begin to explore the surrounding areas in the famous UNESCO World-Heritage site, Val d'Orcia.

We'll visit a local farm to taste cheese & honey, embark on a private tour of the hilltop town, Pienza and enjoy some free time to wind around and get lost among the narrow cobblestone alleys of the quaint town.  Enjoy some free time to relax before a beautiful traditional Tuscan meal with wine. 

We'll head for the countryside for a beautiful wine tour & tasting -- after an in-depth tour, we'll savor a fabulous lunch, featuring the key ingredients of the area - we'll have some freetime to explore the charming village of Montalcino on our own -- before a comparative tasting of Brunello....in a castle!

After grabbing some breakfast, we'll head to Verona.  Enjoy lunch before checking into our historic accommodations.  You'll enjoy a private walking tour to introduce you to one of Shakespeare's favorite towns. Group dinner at a local favorite.

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll head to the wine region of Valpolicella.  Enjoy a private tasting and luncheon at a winery where you'll try Amarone, Ripasso, and more! We'll return to the hotel and you can venture out for dinner.

Today, you'll be free to venture out into Verona on your own.  We have lots of recommendations of how to spend your free time to better familiarize yourself with this charming city.  In the evening, we will dine as a group at our farewell dinner at an incredible restaurant that you won't forget!

Early morning transfer to the Milan Malpensa Airport.  You'll wrap up with all your new-found-friends on the bus.  See you on the next tour!
