Wild Yellowstone is Terroir Tours’ take on America’s last great frontier — a luxury small-group journey through towering mountains, geothermal wonders, wildlife-rich valleys, and timeless western lodges.

Over five unforgettable days, we’ll explore the iconic landscapes of Yellowstone National Park while staying in beautiful boutique properties, enjoying elevated regional cuisine, and traveling comfortably with private transportation throughout the journey. From erupting geysers and colorful hot springs to sweeping alpine vistas and roaming herds of bison, this experience blends adventure, comfort, and discovery in true Terroir Tours fashion.

Day 1

Day 1  image

Arrival - Bozeman & Paradise Valley

Guests arrive where luxury accommodations await nestled among the Mountains. Take a moment to settle in and enjoy the ranch’s serene surroundings.


Fly into Bozeman. Private transfer to our hotel followed by a welcome dinner with Montana beef, trout, bison, local beer, and western wines. Enjoy locally inspired cuisine that highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients to set the tone for the wellness journey ahead.

Day 2

Lamar Valley Wildlife Safari

Early departure with naturalist guides. Wolves, bison, elk, pronghorn, bears if lucky. Picnic lunch, Mammoth Hot Springs, then dinner back near Gardiner/Paradise Valley.


Fireside Dinner & Stargazing - Gather around a crackling fire for a  dining experience featuring locally sourced ingredients. After dinner, cozy up with blankets and warm beverages as a guide leads you through a stargazing session, highlighting the constellations visible in Yellowstone's clear, unpolluted skies

Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Hayden Valley & Lake Yellowstone

Today we'll transfer to Jackson via Yosemite with a visit to the great canyon of Yellowstone, views of towering waterfalls, and passing through wildlife corridors, with a relaxed lunch en route.

We'll settle into our new hotel before enjoying another group dinner featuring local delicacies and some of our nation's finest wines.

Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic & Geyser Country

Today belongs to Yellowstone's most breathtaking icons: the power of Old Faithful, the surreal color of Grand Prismatic, the geothermal wonders of the Upper Geyser Basin, and a peaceful walk along the Firehole River.

Lake Day + West Thumb

West Thumb Geyser Basin where thermals bubble into the lakeshore. Hayden Valley again in late afternoon for golden hour wildlife. Final dinner at Lake Yellowstone Hotel — worth making it a proper occasion.

Day 6

Departure

The drive to Jackson is approximately 2 hours and the scenery along the John D. Rockefeller Parkway and through the Tetons is a spectacular finale to the trip. Guests may schedule departing flights from Jackson Hole Airport that afternoon or evening, or extend their adventure with additional time in Jackson or Grand Teton National Park.
